Amber Alert issued for 8-day-old boy from NC, believed to be with two adults

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WLOS) —

The Chapel Hill Police Department is searching for a missing child, Jaxton Brown.

According to the N.C. Center for Missing Persons, Jaxton Brown is an 8-day-old, white male, approximately 1 foot 7 inches tall, weighing 7 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.

The victim is believed to be with Destinee Ariel Cothran and Justin Lee Brown.

Destinee Ariel Cothran is described as 26 years old, white, female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Justin Lee Brown is described as 29 years old, white, male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities shared the following address in the context of the Amber Alert: 5623 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd Durham NC 27707. The suspect vehicle is a WHITE 1997 Mercury Mystique number Two possible tags 031724 and 29279542.
